The PokerBaazi Premier League Day 5 kept the trend of great poker play and strategy in stride with the past 4 days of the PPL. A total of 2,454 entries registered for the various tournaments making it another fantastic turnout for the PPL.

PPL 2020 features the largest ever prize-pool for a 10 day online series with a guarantee worth INR 7.3 Crore+ over 60 tournaments. Combined with an additional 15 Lakh in leaderboard prizes, PPL 2020 promises to be the biggest and most exciting edition yet.

  • PPL#25 SuperStack 8-Max (5 LAC GTD) (RE)

The 5 LAC GTD SuperStack was the first event of Day 5. A total of 328 entries registered to fight for the big payouts. PokerBaazi reg and another young Indian talent, Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood shipped the event and won INR 1,10,450. Sagar ‘sagarsangtani19’ Sangtani came runner-up and won INR 77,500.

  • PPL#26 5-Max Turbo (5 LAC GTD) (RE)

The second event, 5-Max Turbo 5 LAC GTD received a total of 239 entries. Prateek ‘imperative’ Bhartia came out on top to secure himself 1st place and a payout of INR 1,17,650. Chirag ‘miyagi’ Sodha finished in 2nd place and took home a cash prize of INR 82,550.

  • PPL#27 6-Max DST (20 LAC GTD) (RE)

The big DST 20 LAC GTD received a total of 479 entries. 5 hours of grinding and playing brilliant poker rewarded Gokul Raj ‘nygma’ Dharmajan the title! He won himself INR 4,02,000 after beating Rohan ‘anshAA’ Soman in the heads-up battle who received INR 2,81,800 for finishing in second place.

  • PPL#28 Day2 The Endeavour (50 LAC GTD)

The Endeavour Day 1 was an interesting affair. With 96 players left in the field after Day 1 of play, Day 2 was set up perfectly to crown the big winner. Vaibhav ‘wakhraswagni’ Sharma ended up winning the title and receiving INR 8,76,994 after beating Danish ‘pagla’ Shaikh in the final heads-up who earned himself INR 5,64,248 for finishing 2nd.

  • PPL#29 Mini HighRoller 6-Max (30 LAC GTD) (5RE)

The Mini HighRoller 30 LAC GTD was another big one for the players. The tournament received 473 entries and had some of the biggest online players competing against one another. Sumit ‘boronyx’ Sapra was crowned the champion after winning the heads-up battle against Dhaval ‘rehab77’ Mudgal. They both earned INR 7,13,047 and INR 4,99,842 respectively.

  • PPL#30 6-Max 2 LAC GTD Hold’em Boost (RE)

The 2 LAC GTD Hold’em Boost featured some of the regular PokerBaazi players. It received a total of 310 entries. Karan ‘apocalypto’ Radia came out on top to win the title for INR 68,479 by beating Ashish ‘goodpoker68’ Garg in the final heads-up battle who earned himself INR 48,050.

  • PPL#31 PLO (5 LAC GTD) (5RE)

The final tournament of the Day 5 was the PLO 5 LAC GTD. 433 entries battled it out against one another and in the end, Prakash ‘pokerscientist’ Kumar won the 1st prize receiving INR 1,08,791 by beating Anil ‘babita’ Arora in the heads-up battle. Anil received INR 76,262 for his second place finish.
